The Open Science Centre in the University of Jyväskylä will provide reliable library and museum services to its customers. The Centre familiarizes science with the general public by collecting, preserving, studying and exhibiting items related to the past and present of the University of Jyväskylä, cultural history and the diversity of nature. Anyone can use the scientific library collections and both cultural and natural history collections. In addition to the wide variety of academic materials and numerous e-books, the library provides a depository collection, which includes hundreds of thousands of domestic publications ranging from the 1400s to the present day. Book exhibitions, book and publication sales, and a national radio and TV programme archive enrich this learning and information environment for the benefit of it´s customers.

We provide up-to-date services and collections for professional purposes. Besides JAMK students and staff, we serve everyone in need of practical, work-oriented information. In addition to printed books and journals, our collections comprise an extensive number of theses and electronic resources ranging from business to nursing, technology to music, and pedagogy to natural resources.
Our library units are located in Jyväskylä (Rajakatu, Pitkäkatu, and Piippukatu) and in Tarvaala, Saarijärvi.

Gradia College Library
The library of secondary vocational education provides up-to-date material in the respective fields of our schools, ranging from Beauty Care, Travel and Tourism; to Welfare Technology, Business and Logistics. We serve everyone in need of information but our main customer base consists of the students and teachers of Gradia College.
Our libraries are pleasant learning environments and important study facilities for students. The College Library serves customers in three library units in Jyväskylä.
